Big Digital Photo Frames
What do you think of this idea?
My fiance and I have two digital photo frames(I don’t know the exact size of them but they are bigger than the average 8×10) and we thought of using those in place of a music slide show. We thought of placing them by the buffet table along with the buffet centerpiece and maybe at the open bar or on the guest table. We liked this idea because for one its free. To rent the screen and everything is a few hundred dollars and we thought we would rather spend our money on something for the wedding or guests not on a 4 minute slide show that honestly only close family seems to cares about. We will also be able to hold more pictures and they run on a rechargeable battery so no plug in. They are also really strong they have fallen off the shelf before and they were fine :]
I wanted some opinions on this idea.
I think it’s a fine idea, but I wouldn’t put them on the buffet table, because then you’ll have people stopping at the buffet to watch the show. You want to keep the line moving, if you know what I mean. But put them on a table where folks can pause and watch for awhile–the guest book table comes to mind almost immediately. Or even give the frames their own table where people will be out of the way so they can watch.
