Digital Image Frames

Digital Photo Frames – Looking for PERSONAL reviews!?
These are hot holiday items…and there are a lot of “cheap” no-name ones out because of this. I have seen many at Brookstone, Sharper Image, and other lower quality ones, and looking for some suggestions from people who OWN them. I am looking for around an 8″ ($200 range) but one that preferably takes high capacity SD cards (newer SDHC >4GB cards) – but also must be GOOD resolution (I have seen plenty of poor quality images in the cheaper ones that you can see dithering). I actually bought a couple of Aluratek 11″ frames that have 1GB internal memory, but returned them in less than 24 hrs because transferring photos by USB was horrendously painful and many times did not recognize the device when plugged in the computer. I have learned my lesson, and want to look for a better quality one. THANKS!
Is a matter of fact, we ended up buying three of them! The Mustek PF-A700B has a 7″ widescreen TFT LCD screen, can handle USB thumb drives as well as MMC/SD/MS/MS Pro and CF cards. You can also hook MP3 music up to it for playing your own tunes to the photos.
We bought one for my mom as a gift and she ended up taking it to my uncles house so she could show him all the photos we took at her birthday party. The cost was good at $150 or there abouts. Nice clear images and the setup was fairly easy.
Good luck with your search!
