Digital Photo Frame High Resolution

Which dpi should i use for 480 x 220 resoluion photos?
Im trying to convert the high resolution photos in to 480 x 200 resolution. I am using Nero Photosnap but I dont understand what dpi (dots per inch) is for. How many dpi for 480 and how many for 220?
Im trying to put these photos in digital Photo Frame which supports 480 x 220 resolution photos so I want them to be crystal clear in the frame. Please help. Thank You
Size and resolution are not the same. A 480 x 220 photo can be 50 DPI or 300 DPI or 1000 DPI. The DPI, or more accurately PPI, (pixels per inch), is just a number as to how many pixels are in that photo.
I am not familier with your program. But you should be able to input whatever resolution you want into the same area where you are setting your photo size. Computer monitors work best with a resolution of about 72 DPI. I don’t know if a Digital Frame would be much different. If your frame instructions do not state a specific best DPI number, then just convert one photo at 72 DPI, load it into the frame and see how it looks. Do the same thing with the photo at 150 DPI or even higher. Sometimes you just have to experiment with these things to find what works best. Just be sure when you are doing this resizing of your photos that you do a SAVE AS and do not overwrite your original photo files.
But, 480 x 220 is the photo size, not the resolution.
