what makes the philips 7″ digital Photo Frame better than other brands?
during my search for a nice digital Photo Frame for my parents, the philips 7″ one seems to be one of the better ones (in terms of customer satisfaction). What makes this one better than the “other” one that you’d find on sale at target, bed bath and beyond, or mervyns? Or in general, what kind of qualities or features make a digital photo frame good?
the philips frame is about $140 and the other 7″ ones I’ve seen are well under $100. The price isn’t a huge issue – I don’t mind spending a bit more if it’s worth it cause I’d like to get my parents a nice one.

I went through this search last January. I bought the Phillips 7 inch frame. Check out the resolution specs on the frames you want to buy you will find that most are pretty low. Try some of your photos in the lower cost frames and you will drawn back to the superior quality of the Phillips LCD. The biggest part of the cost of the frame is the LCD and the Phillips’ one is among the highest resolution you can buy. The superior 720 X 480 LCD allows for better detail and a brighter image by providing a higher pixel density than most laptops. My wife is very happy with hers.
