Digital Photo Frame?

i have around 100 frames on another camera(as i had to change it) on my memory card, but i can only access the first 130 on another camera which was a samsung, on my thumbnails. The only way i can view the last 100 is by having to go through the whole slide show. The Photo Frame is a kodak easyshare sv710 and the camera with the last frames is a fuji finefix a900 i emailed kodak but they said it has to be formatted to a certain jpeg which it obviousy is or it wouldn’t be playing the photos.

I do know that if you have adobe photoshop (or a similar photo package) you can change the format of your pictures to jpeg….though like you said im pretty sure they already are if they are diaplayed in the slide show!!??? confuesing!! sorry i couldnt be more help!! x

Culture and price is not the true killer of digital Photo Frame

Like the netbook, digtial Photo Frame shows weaker performance in China market than in the Euro-American market. Some people blame the failure in China market on the culture difference between east and west. Some others attribute to the high price. Though it’s not unreasonable, it’s not rather certain. Is there never a market for digital photo frame in China?

It’s certain that there is culture difference. Many people in the west like putting the photos of family in the office. But Chinese seldom do it. Most importantly, the single function is the real reason. If the functions of digital frame are attractive enough, there will be high standards consumers on the large market.

The digital frame released by Chumby supports clock radio, WiFi and has a 3.5 inch touch screen. It can broadcast the blog, internet radio and internet video. In fact, most of the manufacturers think the market is favorable. Microsoft is even developing a system which supports inter-place photo share to improve the application.

The future digital photo frame may be developed to be the keyboardless, real time online and always-on network application device. It will be the main feature which makes it different from the mp4, mobile phone and even computer. Just like the mobile phone and computer, digital photo frame is just an application platform. The always-on and always-online features define the future direction of the digital frame. The culture and price is just the representation factors.
