Is there any Software to combine many Picture Frames into a video animation.?

I am using apophysis to render many fractal images at once. But now i need to compile them all into a video. i need a software that will let me insert all the frames and set a fast time limit for each frame to show so it goes by in a smooth animation. right now i’m using Ulead Gif Animation, but it only lets me do 80 frames at one time.

If you’re on a Mac, use Pencil(there’s PC and Linux versions as well), Framethief or FramebyFrame..

All these animation programs will let you import your images, set the framerate you’d like the video to run at, and you can choose how long each frame will stay onscreen. You can then export your film as a movie file. Most of these programs don’t have a frame cap that I’m aware of, or if they do it’ll be in the 1000′s.
